Please write in your journals:
Today is Friday, March 20, 2020.  Today is a (lion or a lamb) day.  (you can decide on that)
Today we will pray the Stations of the Cross.

Reading/Phonics:
Trace, Write and Build pg. 307
(letter cards were not included)
Pg. 308: cut out picture and glue under the correct beginning sound.
Sound out some pictures and write them on the bottom part of the paper.
Pg. 309 Read and write: circle the correct letter for the picture and write the correct beginning sound.
pg.310 Build Fluency
Sentences 1&2: Choose the correct word that completes the sentence:
Sentence: #3. Please write: A fox is very quick.
Sentence #4.  Please write: Fill up the jug.

In your journal or on another piece of paper write the following sentences: 
1. There is my hat.
2. Let the dog out.

Let's write some word families:
-ad
1. pad
2. dad
3.bad

Discuss the text with a family member:

  1. What was the chameleon's wish? 
  2. So the chameleon gets its wish. What happens when the wish comes true ?
  3. Why do  you think the chameleon wishes to be like the other animals? 
  4. What do you think the chameleon learns in this story. 
  5. Do you think Eric Carle does a good job showing how the chameleon gets mixed up?
**Practice rereading your book from yesterday. Quick, Quick, Quick! Can you point out our high-frequency words?

Math:  Worksheet: Telling Time: This paper has 12 clocks on it. (it is in black and white) It's is time by the half hour.

** Remember: the big hand is always on the 6 and the little hand is between the hour hand and the next number.:

Science:  Spring Paper.  I believe there is a worksheet that has 4 pictures of a Spring pictures. (if you do not have it ..I'm sorry!) Please cut the paper out and make a cute book.
Also, can you cut out a picture that shows "Spring".  We will make a Spring collage when we return.
Can you find a picture that is something:

  • We wear in Spring?
  • Activity in Spring?
  • we see in Spring?
