We had a great week!!  We made bats and spiders.  The children were sooo excited about the Book Fair.  Thanks to all the volunteers.

Our weekend homework is to listen to the Gospel Reading in church.  We read the Gospel and colored a picture.  We also acted out the Procession into church when mass begins. Some children were Alter Servers, Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and the Priest.

Monday is gym day!! =)

The classtrip to Fresh and Fancy Farm was a lot of fun.  Thank you so much to the chaperones.

Change in Lunch Menu for Oct. 28th  French toast sticks to pancakes =)

Mr. Cupcakes has designed a special SJS logo cupcake that will be on sale from Oct. 18th-Nov.3rd.  Mr. Cupcakes will donate $1.00 back to St. Joseph School for each cupcake they sell.  What a great idea!! =)

**Wednesday, Oct. 16th:  Individual Picture Day.  Children may wear their regular clothes or their "winter" school uniform.

Please have your child wear their "Winter School Uniform".  No shorts or golf shirts.
Kindergarten can wear their gym uniform for our class trip on Tuesday.

We had a great week.  The firefighters came to our school for a visit and we made big red fire engines.
In honor of Christopher  Columbus we made the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria.  The children did a great job cutting and pasting the ships together.
